nano-archimedes is based on the open source classical Monte Carlo device simulator Archimedes of Dr. Jean Michel Sellier as a platform for implementing ViennaWD's signed particle method. It is initiated as a joint effort with the group of Prof. Ivan Dimov and first establishes the feasibility of the method for describing multidimensional, transient, and scattering-aware quantum transport. nano-archimedes is maintained and further developed by Dr. Sellier towards many body/density functional theory applications.
